The 2023 BSCC Convention

The 2023 Convention, held on 29 April at Theydon Bois Village Hall, coincided with the early May Bank Holiday. True to form for the BSCC's spring show (but not generally for British bank holidays) the weather was glorious. This, and various problems with road and Tube links, might have affected overall attendance a little but as ever there were beautiful shells for sale from a good range of dealers, whom we thank for their continuing support. The Bring & Buy also continues to attract a lot of attention! After a brief Annual General Meeting – with no changes to the committee this year – the Club showed its appreciation to Shirley for her excellent catering of the shows held at Theydon Bois.
