BSCC events in 2022

The Club usually holds three events per year that are open to non-members. On the last Saturday in April the Shell Club Convention brings together dealers .

There was also no Chatsworth Shell Fayre this summer, but it will return on 20 August 2022.

We did hold the Shell Show on the last Saturday in October. For this year only we proposed not to have competition displays at the event, in order to make more room for socialising and buying shells.

In addition to publicly open events Club members are usually invited to regular get-togethers throughout the year. It was decided that there would be no get-togethers this summer but we hope they will be back on the calendar next year.

Other events

Meetings of the Conchological Society of Great Britain and Ireland.  Indoor meetings, field meetings and workshops usually take place throughout the year. Please check the Society's website for the situation in 2021.
