The Rolfes' Get-Together 2023

Held on 13 May 2023. This year Dave and Debbie Rolfe's get-together included a visit to Reculver, on the north Kent coast near Herne Bay. Apart from its molluscan attractions (including fossils) this SSSI also offers interesting plant and bird life, the significant remains of a Roman fort and 7th-century church, and a nice cafe to warm up in after some time on the beach. On returning to Northfleet we were treated to a barbecue and the wonders of Dave's shell room. Many thanks to Debbie and Dave for organizing a very enjoyable day.
